Ride - Wissahickon Valley, PA

This place has become somewhat favored in the wet summer.  The Marsh Creek trails will be hellishly wet with all the rain we're having.  The Wissahickon trails are perched along a steep-sided valley and the water just runs off into the river.  That said, the steeper sections were pretty washed out and slippery today after the downpours yesterday.  SaMuk performed admirably as always but I do need to swap the front and rear tires around...the rear is losing tread.

There weren't too many riders on the trail and no casual walkers.  Getting out in the morning pretty much precludes seeing the latter.
