Lucklaw House open garden

Lucklaw House open garden is one of a collection of privately owned gardens that open themselves up to the public.  The house is the old village manse and now part of a small livestock farm owned and operated by a couple who moved up from London 10 years ago.  The garden is mostly the work of the woman and it's quite spectacular.  The plantings are an incredible and varied mixture of perennials that co-mingle with each other in a seemingly overgrown fashion that is really attractive.  You can tell from the effectiveness of the arrangement and the neatly manicured lawns that his place is well thought out and immaculately tended.
