Ride - Scotland, Glen Clova and Glen Prosen, Angus

I wrote this in May 2021 despite the fact that the ride took place on May 12th 2019. Glen Clova is probably my favorite of the Angus glens. I rode up to the ridge between Prosen and Clova from the car park at the bottom of Glen Prosen. It’s quite a climb from the car park to the Airlie Monument. After that, the ridge is pretty manageable.

From the ridge I rode down the Minister’s Road, so-called because it’s the road that the local minister would take between the churches in Glen Clova and Glen Prosen. At the bottom of the Minister’s Road I headed back along the tarred road to the south of the South Esk to the car park at the bottom of Glen Prosen.
