Ride - Scotland Banchory
Where
Easy ride from Banchory along the river Dee with nothing strenuous involved, lots of stops for pictures and a nice easy pace. This ride was intended simply to get things moving again after a week off.
I’m hearing more and more songbirds now.

Gear and Nutrition
I took SurPug to the local bike shop this week to see if they could stop the rear deraileur jumping (or is it knocking?) in the top four gears. It cost me 15 quid but it was soon evident that they couldn’t. Goodness knows why they thought they’d fixed it.
Anyway, I can use the two front gears with the lowest five gears on the cassette so I think I’ll just live with things this season then switch to a 1x11 setup next year.
