More rain...

This has to be one of the wettest and most variable temperature springs on record but at least the freezes are behind us.  The Rhododendrons have begun to flower and are providing color during a grey day.  They are quite spectacular when you get up close.

The waxy cuticle on plant leaves cause rainwater to form droplets rather than coat the surface.  I tried to get a reflection on one of the droplets but don't have the camera resolution for that.  The Peony is from the front garden.  These things are spectacular and last longer than usual in this cool-ish weather we're having.
